Last week Friday EFF leader, Julius Malema, had his say regarding Mabala Noise and how they managed to sign so many artists. He claimed that all artists received no less than R5 million each.
Riky Rick of Mabala Noise took it Twitter to try attempt to clear the air on his side.
‘Bhek… There is no R5million I ever received from anyone… @Julius–S–Malema DO NOT LIE TO THE PEOPLE.’
‘Anyone who knows me knows how hard we work for what we have… @Julius–S–Malema included. Dont ever get it twisted‚’ he tweeted.
Reggie Nkabinde had the following to say on behalf of Mabala Noise.
“We are still consulting our legal team as to how to go forward. Julius grew up in jail, he likes being in jail so it’s a waste of time to take him to court. “
“Why would artists sell their soul for R5million. We will continue to continue in our quest to ensure an African child continues,”
“The day we take him to task he must be able to prove his statements for now anyone who wants proof must go ask Julius,”
Mabala Noise were also quite active on their Twitter page and had the below to say to Julius Malema
‘We are not in the business of disclosing artist’s contract. NO artist was paid R5mil or any amount.’
‘Artists are not shaken by this sideshow. As a business we cant standby while they’re being reduced to reckless statements @Julius_S_Malema’
‘Until we go to court, anyone seeking proof on @Julius_S_Malema utterances must get it from him. Ours is to protect our artists from him’
